Spring Break: Day One

Hello Folks!

Today is the day were all the fun starts, SPRING BREAK 2012! This is where the cowgirls get rowdy and dirty we ride till the sun goes down, literally the sun was nearly gone when we put the horses away, but the story of today does not start there.

Our day started when my Grandma Irene met my sister and me at Krystal Burger in Pensacola, Fl. at 7: 00 am. After she picked us up we went home to feed and wash the horses to get ready to ride later that afternoon. In the meantime, we turned the radio on and the song "Honky Tonka and Budonkey Donk" by Trace Adkins came on and us country cowgirls where roping up a storm dancing with a video to follow. Soon after our little boogie woogie with Trace Adkins, Hannah got stolen away by Grandpa Mike to the Circle Jay western store and she got her a BRAND NEW pair of Western boots, she was beaming as she walked away from the barn with him. She looked like a fire fly on fire! When they returned an hour later....we ate lunch and we went to the round pen and did some of our famous horse exercise by Grandma Irene Wise, with a video produced by Grandpa Mike Wise. These exercises did not include the horses. Then we needed to get some fans on body’s to cool off our laughter, it caused us to sweat!!!! Our next exercise was to get our bodies moving very fluidly with music to get our Giddy -Up on as we were saddling diamond!! These cowgirls had me in stitches laughing so hard as we produced the Train, work out!

Round Pen started just like this.... Grandma Irene and Grandpa Mike played a trick on us.... they Told us we needed to get some horse exercise in before we got on the horse! Grandma Irene told Savannah and Hannah to get in the round pen and put your Helmets on! She helped Hannah, and then she pulled out mine... (.Savannah)... (Which I was begging before I ever seen the Helmet ... Grandma Irene please don't make me wear a Helmet) Grandma Irene turned to me and said Savannah you have a special helmet. Police patrol!!! Hannah busted out and started laughing and making the noise of a police car siren!!! So funny! Then she told us we needed to take these items and go in the round pen; one was a stick horse and the other was a broom! She told us to hit every gait ... Walk, trot, and canter! She was laughing so hard it was so funny ... Hannah had no clue what she was doing; all she could do was laugh and I, Savannah was saying “grandma Irene"!!! She then grabbed lunge line and said walk on!!! Move out, before I whack you!!! I, Savannah laughed so hard I fell off my stick horse backwards!!! Grandpa Mike said, "Savannah it was a good thing you had your police helmet on to protect your head"!!! Ha-ha...Can't wait to post the video of today!!! Then we saddled up the horses and really rode them, we were awesome like Grandma Irene knew we would be and we rode TILL SUNDOWN!!!
